The Ag team’s Emily Johnson, newly elected chair of the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation’s Young Farmer and Agriculturist Program, is featured on the cover and within the pages of the February/March issue of Rural Route, the WFBF’s membership magazine. The piece delves into Emily’s ag roots, her work as a crop insurance specialist, her involvement with the Farm Bureau, and what she aims to accomplish in her new role.

You can read it here (on p. 21).

“We need to take what we learned last year – a year of struggle – to come back stronger and move forward.’ She hopes to bring people together in 2021 in some way and sees opportunities ahead for young members to band together and help each other out. ‘If we have learned anything,’ she said, ‘it’s that we need people. We can’t go it alone. We need to be together and work together.’”
