State Bank of Cross Plains Named ICBA Top Lender
Earlier this month, the Independent Community Bankers of America released its annual Top Lenders list, comprising the “most successful [community bank] loan producers in the areas of agriculture, commercial and consumer/mortgage lending.” For the second straight year, State Bank of Cross Plains – and more specifically, our Ag Division – made the list. The bank was one of only four in Wisconsin to have been chosen for inclusion.
The ICBA describes its methodology for compiling the list as follows: “Using FDIC data for 2020, we calculated a lender score out of 100 for each community bank. The score combines the average of the bank’s percentile rank for lending concentration and for loan growth over the past year in each lending category. We then adjusted each score for loan charge offs in each category at certain percentile thresholds.”
